Il Santo was published in Italy by I Romanzi Gialli, and then later Garzanti, in paperback format. In 1952, I Romanzi Gialli published a number of thin paperback editions of Il Santo. There were 29 paperbacks in three different Garzanti series beginning in 1964 and running until 1978. Garzanti also published at least two hardcover collections of Il Santo.

In 1952, I Romanzi Gialli published a number of thin paperback editions of Il Santo. Then in the 1960s, there were 29 Italian language paperbacks published by Gialli Garzanti, in Milano, Italy, in three distinct series: the first title was a translation of The Saint Bids Diamonds, and was published in December of 1964.
